#46 05/17/2011 Awww babies!

Today I saw an amazing thing! I noticed a big bunch of baby spiders on the side of my trash can. They were all scurrying around so fast. At first I was a little unsettled by the sheer numbers and creepy crawly-ness, however, I watched them for a few seconds, then decided they were quite cute and needed to be photographed. They were, after all, adorable teeny tiny babies. The whole scene reminded me of Charlotte's web. I went back several minutes later and they were all gone from that spot. I hope at least a couple stayed around to grow big and keep the flies away from my trash can this summer.
