We had not seen Star for a few days. Last night he came home with this funny laminated note tightly taped to his collar, and quite a few pounds heavier.
It says, "You have a very nice cat. He comes to visit me most nights. The other night he woke me up at 3:00 am wrestling around the living room with my cat and his bell is very loud on wood floors. I don't know what his name is, so I just call him Tinkerbell. I'm pretty sure he doesn't know I'm making fun of him. I have pet doors and he just makes himself at home. He won't go near my wife, but he lets me pet him once in a while. Anyway, I don't want to scare him away or shoo him home cause I don't know which way home is, and he's not talking." Then on the back of the note it give the author of the note's name, address and phone number.

I called the number and it turned out to be Jerry, the guy that lives directly behind us. We exchanged a few cat stories, laughed, and I told him how much I enjoyed his note. My plan now is to keep Star inside. Lilly's plan is to change his name to Snowball. We will see how long both plans last.
